Wednesday, June 30th, 2004NEVER Forget the Sidetalking
Wednesday, June 16th, 2004From the Flash late last night: “I think you’ll know how important this is … http://www.sidetalking.com/photos.html.” I know all too well, my friend. All too well. Scene.
Mail Flashback
Tuesday, June 15th, 2004At a great wedding this weekend (just one week after Keith & Hannah’s super bash), I found myself randomly talking to another CS person. It may have not been that random, since I believe the seats, not just tables, were assigned.
Anyway, my favorite mail program from days long past, mm, was reintroduced to me. The distribution section gives you an idea of how old is old … BITNET *and* UUCP addresses are given:
“MM is available by anonymous ftp from columbia.edu (128.59.40.130), in the mm subdirectory. For information, send mail to info-mm-request@columbia.edu (Internet), info-mm-request@cunixf (BITNET), or …rutgers!columbia!info-mm-request (UUCP).”
Awesome.
