make it stop

Thursday, January 30th, 2003

So tired of traveling. After a few days of being away from home^2, I’m lucky to have stupid people to cheer me up.

Darwinism is alive and well, minus one arm. Kinda reminds me of the kids who got eaten by the polar bear(s) in the Central Park Zoo a few years ago. Surely this stunt will find a way to this awards site.

There are also some 31337 h4X0rs to cheer me up. DougEDoug reminded Bork about Pornolizer … which immediately reminded me of Dysfunctional Dog. Unfortunately, it seems more than dysfunctional. It seems completely broken. Luckily there are some archives to read.

If you want to read about more feline attacks go ahead. The bear attacks are also a good read.

Oddly enough these sites remind me of another death related catalog, this list from the state of Texas. A similar compilation demonstrates that it’s never too late to start counting calories.

Still Terrible After All These Years

I’ve had two major MS IE 6 issues in the last three days. First, it tries to do something funky with certain links (you’ll be glad to know that the Mac version has the same issue). Click on the Borkware link to see what I mean.

And now, it appears that this very page has issues with the IE 6 patched to the most recent release. If anyone happens to know why, please let me know. Phoenix (and thus every other Mozilla base browser) works just fine.

Combined with some recent Windows XP horror stories from friends … it sounds like Microsoft may have jumped the shark.

Holy Cow

Now that my blood tests and endoscopy came back looking good, I’m quite glad to be in good health. Thank you Germany for not having the FDA! As most of us, when having to visit the ER, we think about the Big Guy. That guy may be Buddha, God, Elvis … whatever. I gotta go with JC in the clutch. The kid’s got moxie.

And it seems plenty of folks out on the web also like the guy.

If you don’t feel like you’re writing in the style of the Good Book, or want to spice up your favorite site, you can automagically inset some good words. Click on this to see this page fixed up.

[Down at the time of this writing] This site allows you to dress JC up for Halloween, Christmas, Easter … any time of year! You can also pickup some magnets for the fridge.

Interestingly, the .com site isn’t as spiffy as the .org site. Seems that you .net domain owners may want to take note that He didn’t bother to register for one.

One guy is pretty serious about all of it. Unfortunately, he isn’t a fan of Catholics (aka “Cult of Mary”), believes that the Pope is a soldier of the Devil and everyone else is practicing Witch Craft. He doesn’t seem to really be a fan of anyone except King James. Oh that wacky KJV 1611 crowd!

For the single ladies out there, see if you are compatible.

Out of the many sites out there, the one I found offense to was the Preachy Hotdog. Sure I may be “like dirty rags” compared to JC, but I still have more sense that freakin’ hotdog.

This is poorly written. Who would allow such slop on his blog?

I’d like to make a legit entry, but I can’t get into my fancypants sign-in page, so I guess I’ll just comment on myself. (How’s that for narcissistic passive agression?)

After posting about the atrocity of the beast show, i got digital TV this weekend. What a moron. Tonight I watched some Saturday Night Live on Comedy Central and American Idol 2.

Since I don’t think the point of this thing is to record my TV viewing habits and thoughts thereof, I will retire in the hopes of one day writing something meaningful.

Sleep tight.

More Tweaks

My apologies for being so very lame and not posting any more uninteresting and/or mildly crudlike content. [Which reminds me of every VW Trends magazine ad "Get your Cams from Mild to WILD!!!"]. But I digress.

Mr. T would pity me and doesn’t have time for this kind of Jibba Jabba.

Been working on some random stuff [which won't really hit the site for a few weeks]. Though I did note the server is at 198 days of uptime again. A few may know the system was taken down at 212 days 198 days ago to install another HD.
